  1. can a 2nd year Moi university student be able to qualify for an inter transfer into your institution? …school of Education

    1. Caroline – all previous years candidates are eligible for KUCCPS placements only if they fulfil required conditions as stipulated – please visit the official KUCCPS website online for all the informations and updates.

      1. I applied a course in electrical engnering and am still waiting for the kuccps feedback and the feedback it have took long time

      2. Moses – for updates on all KUCCPS matters always log into it’s official website for latest information.
        Read the following –

        NAIROBI, April 20, 2017
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service wishes to reiterate that it is still processing the 2017/2018 university and college placement.
The outcome of the placement will be communicated to the 2016 KCSE candidates, universities and colleges at the end of the placement process.
Therefore, the candidates and the public are advised to ignore messages circulating on WhatsApp and other online platforms purporting to be “breaking news” and misleading them to collect non-existent calling letters from schools.
The Placement Service does not issue calling letters. That is the role of respective universities or colleges once students have been placed in their courses.
We will advise the 2016 candidates accordingly through the Placement Service website http://www.kuccps.ac.ke once the process is completed.
An advertisement of the same will be published in approved newspapers with nationwide circulation.
Any other information relating to the placement process appearing anywhere should therefore be verified by checking the website.
        Chief Executive Officer,
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service.

      Sawa!

    1. Odour Steven, first and foremost this is NOT a Kuccps blog site but a privately run volunteer platform to help prospective students secure information on how to go about when applying for placements through KUCCPS.
Steven, just go to the official KUCCPS website and log in to the students tab with your personal details to obtain instant status for the concluded revisions as generated by the KUCCPS.
      Sawa!

  3. I have not been given a course in the kuccps ,and l completed last year ,l can’t see my name what could be wrong

    1. Hello, Wendy – first this is not KUCCPS but a volunteer platform for guiding prospective students on the technicalities of KUCCPS!
You said you did all the revisions but you’ve not been placed for the courses that you revised. I find this strange, unless you missed the formalities as stipulated for revision! Try to log in to the KUCCPS students portal and see the results you obtained for placement.

  5. I have finally reach them
They told me that i would be placed in any course any university.Have you ever come acros someone like me who gets to be admitted in any university??

    1. Diana, write them an email and let them respond to that first.
An email is concrete proof put on paper unlike what we hear from phones.
Just jot an email and give them time to respond – it might take a day or two.
; I had also instructed you to log in to the ‘students portal’ address I provided just to have a glimpse on what it reflects about your status.
Don’t worry, your status is not unique, there are thousands and thousands who missed those golden revisions opportunities so you’re no exception.
Just work hard on follow up don’t leave anything to chance.
One more point, don’t forget that prayers too work wonders with efforts.

As a backup draft an email too, immediately.

In the KUCCPS revision, students were offered the first and the second chance as the option to revise their choices – and the students were bound to take these issues very seriously – because your futures were at stake here.
Diana kindly use the link below and say how it goes –

    1. Boni, how do change courses yet you even don’t know where you’ve been placed!
Which is in front – the horse or the cart?! If it’s the horse then wait for the KUCCPS placement announcement before you make decisions.

    1. Boni, the second revision exercise has just been concluded – wait for updates and announcements anytime.
Always be close to the official KUCCPS website to obtain updates.

  7. I was placed at pwani university in 2016 but didn’t report at the said date. I want to join it but I lost my admission letter which has all the requirements and answers to my curiosity. I don’t have any contact with them and would like to know how long it takes for the offer till it expires.

    1. Ramy, Pwani University is a public institution and my advise is that you get in touch directly with the University to lodge your queries.
Call the Campus during the normal working hours and for backup purposes write an email also.

    1. Mercy, if you’d secured a place through KUCCPS during the previous placement then you’re not eligible for the present drive.

Further still get in touch with KUCCPS through the contacts given below.

For immediate assistance, please email info@kuccps.ac.ke or call the Customer Care lines 0723 954 927 or 0734 879 662.

      2. Mercy – just call the KUCCPS through their official lines and place your inquiries.

    1. Maina – I find your inquiry rather peculiar – the dates for paying and registering online had long expired after the mandatory period elapsed.
You’re always advised to read carefully all the details that KUCCPS posts online before engaging in any transactions otherwise you might end up losing all together.
Now, what you should do is this – get in touch directly with KUCCPS through sending an email and calling them directly as soon as you possibly can. Call them during the normal working hours and lodge your query there. Sawa!

      2. Kevin, this quagmire is very complicated – because it’s two arms of the same government that’s fighting. Kuccps and KMTC are both government arms so unless the AG Githu Muigai intervenes then surely everything will remain in the dark. Let’s just be patient and see how it goes but make sure you stay updated with how it moves!

      3. fine thank you sir,but am sure all will be well and we may join late just like what they did last though am not sure

  22. This is clear that kuccps are not keen when placing students coz i have heard many complain about been placed to a campus where their choice of course is not offered and others on reporting they are forced to change course since they do not qualify for the ones they’ve been offered to pursue. Imagine na mtu amebuy books?

    1. Rebina, if you feel aggrieved by the KUCCPS through an error in placements then there’s an evenue to raise your complaints.
One – call KUCCPS directly through their official lines and lodge your query there.
Two – get in touch directly with the ministry.
And three – you’re free to seek redress against KUCCPS through the courts of law, anywhere across the country.

  23. Hello, am jael , I had applied for Kmtc through Kuccps and was shortlisted to pursue course in,Community Health Nursing but I have not got any admission letter and when I checked the final list of selected students in Kmtc, my name was not appearing, advise me,please what to do

    1. Jael, for those students who applied for KMTC through KUCCPS there’s no clear path that has been determined upto now as far as I know.
However, get in touch by calling them directly through their official lines and also send them an email about your issues immediately.
Call both KUCCPS and KMTC and also write an email to both.

  24. Am Cynthia from Mombasa i applied for Clinical medicine via kuccps to kmtc but upto now i have no news abt the branch i was selected to join nether the admission letter please help cause Kmtc students are reporting on 19th August to pay for the admission fee the they will officially report on 13th September before 3pm kindly i need your help and thanks in advance.

    1. Cynthia, the KMTC vs KUCCPS issue is very complicated and no clear path has been defined yet as far as I know.
My advice to you is this – don’t waste anymore precious time, call KUCCPS directly through their official lines and also call KMTC to lodge your complaints immediately but during the normal working hours of course!
Also while doing so write an email to both of them too.

  25. my name does not appear on the kuccps list to show me which university i have been selected
and i got a letter to join embu university college where also after checking my name on their admission list my name also does not appear
    what should i do

    1. Jarvie, if your name isn’t in both the KUCCPS and Embu campus list of admission – then it’s unique that you received a letter from Embu campus confirming the same.
My advice is this – get in touch directly with Embu campus to confirm the authenticity of the admission letters you received. Also make sure you engage KUCCPS in all matters pertaining to that. Do so immediately.

    1. Paul, if you’d been placed to join Garissa University – just do this, call the Campus at the earliest time possible to inquire about the admission bundles plus all that pertains to it.
      Wapigie simu, usiogope!

  26. why has Kabete not issued admission letter up to now, for students of kuccps? Kabete tti

    1. Julius, if you’ve been placed by KUCCPS to join Kabete TTI, then just do the necessary – contact Kabete TTI to inquire about your admission bundles!, it’s that simple.

  27. Has kmtc and kuccps solved their
differences,? And will the students selected by kuccps to join kmtc get admission letters?

  28. I had been selected to study a course in kmtc which I had applied through kuccps, how can i optain my admission letter because i was not shortlisted with those who applied through kmtc.

    1. Boniface, the KMTC vs KUCCPS issue is not as simple as you may want to assume.
First, get in touch directly with KUCCPS through sending an email to info@kuccps.ac.ke or calling KUCCPS via their official lines during normal working hours.
Secondly, repeat the same sequence as above for KMTC too.
Time is not on your side now, act immediately.

      1. Grace, changing of courses on admission to the campus is not as easy as people would assume. When reporting to the campus get in touch with the Dean of Academics for directives on such matters.
        What’s Actuarial science?!
Actuarial science is the discipline that applies mathematical and
statistical methods to assess risk in insurance , finance and other industries and professions. Actuaries are professionals who are qualified in this field through intense education and experience. In many countries, actuaries must demonstrate their competence by passing a series of thorough professional examinations.
Actuarial science includes a number of interrelated subjects, including mathematics, probability theory , statistics, finance , economics , and computer science .

  29. Have been selected to persue a course in Egerton university but on the release of the university’s admission list my name doesn’t appear in the list.what step do l take?

    1. Moses, if you’ve been placed by KUCCPS to join Egerton then write an email to Egerton to seek for the admission letter. Also it’s advisable that you call Egerton University immediately to seek clarifications at the same further call KUCCPS to hear their views on the topic. Just remember to call during working hours from Monday to Friday.

  30. Hey I’m Shelmith… I got accepted to my university of choice from the kuccps website but how do I know which Campus I’m going to on line?

    1. Shelmith, just get in touch directly with the University and seek the clarifications. Write an email and also call the Campus personally and request for your admission letter. The admission letter usually contains all the details you’d need including the Campus where you’d been allocated.

    1. Kingi Rama, you just seem not to be serious with education. KUCCPS Revisions exercise were done in two phases and at different times.

  31. hello…i did my application through kucpps and i was selected to join kmtc but later i discover my name doesnt appear in the kmtc list am a bit lost here.what do i do?

    1. Naomi, I am sympathetic with what you’ve put yourself into.
I’d warned many others that the best way to go forward with KMTC is just to apply through them and NOT anywhere else. You see for the past few years KMTC have adamantly refused to admit students who applied through KUCCPS, in fact the case somehow ended in the courts of law.
Naomi, the best thing to do right now is to write an email to both KUCCPS and KMTC.
Then proceed to call both of them, KUCCPS and KMTC and explain your predicament there. Naomi, time is not your side anymore take action right away – usingoje!!

  35. Hi I Am Benson.Which Letter Is Accepted During Admission. Is Original From The Campus,or The One To Be Downloaded?

    1. Ben, you’re advised to confirm with the Campus that you’ve been placed in for directives on such matters. Both the admission letters from either physically from the Campus or as pdf downloads are originals and genuine – only that it’s the Campus that should direct you on where to download.

      1. Am paul i completed form 4 last year and scored a B- but i missed the online application. Am asking if it is possible for me to be placed to a university or college right now. Please help
